Enrollment, Payment & Cancellation Policy

IgniteSkills Academy delivers limited-seat, cohort-based programs and private training engagements. To maintain program quality and participant experience, the following policies apply.

1. Open Enrollment Programs

Enrollment & Payment

  • Enrollment in an IgniteSkills Academy open enrollment program is confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
  • Full payment is required prior to the start of the first virtual session to secure and maintain a participant’s seat.
  • For enrollments occurring after the first virtual session has taken place, full payment must be received prior to the start of the in-person Boot Camp.
  • Because cohort size is intentionally limited, unpaid registrations may be released to other participants.

Early Enrollment Incentive

  • IgniteSkills Academy may offer early enrollment pricing for select programs.
  • Early enrollment discounts apply only when:
    • Registration is completed prior to the published early enrollment deadline, and
    • Full payment is received by that deadline.
  • Early enrollment pricing cannot be applied retroactively and may not be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.
  • IgniteSkills Academy reserves the right to modify pricing, incentives, or enrollment terms at any time.

Cancellation & Credit Policy – Open Enrollment

Due to limited cohort size, program preparation, and facility commitments, the following cancellation terms apply:

  • 30 or more days prior to program start: Full credit toward a future IgniteSkills program.
  • 15–29 days prior to program start: 50% credit toward a future program.
  • Less than 15 days prior to program start: Non-refundable.

Credits must be applied within 12 months of the original program start date.

Participant Substitution

If a registered participant is unable to attend, a substitute from the same organization may attend at no additional cost with prior written notice before the program begins.

2. Private / Company-Sponsored Programs

Agreement & Deposit

Private training engagements require:

  • A signed agreement, and
  • A deposit equal to 25% of the total program fee to secure program dates.

Program dates are not considered confirmed until the deposit is received.

Final Invoice & Payment Terms

Upon completion of the engagement, IgniteSkills Academy will issue a final invoice for:

  • The remaining balance of the program fee, and
  • Any applicable travel expenses incurred.

Payment of the final invoice is due Net-30 from the invoice date.

Rescheduling – Private Programs

If a private program must be rescheduled:

  • 30 or more days’ notice: No penalty.
  • Less than 30 days’ notice: A rescheduling fee may apply due to preparation, scheduling commitments, and reserved resources.

Any non-refundable travel expenses already incurred remain the responsibility of the client.

3. Force Majeure

IgniteSkills Academy shall not be liable for delays or cancellation due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, travel disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

In such cases, programs will be rescheduled in good faith at a mutually agreeable date.

4. Policy Updates

IgniteSkills Academy reserves the right to update this policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of enrollment or agreement execution shall govern the engagement.
